Start with what you have.
Vehicles, real estate, collectibles, equipment, business resources, professional expertise, and access to useful services can sometimes be part of a mission-aligned charitable solution. The appropriate path depends on the resource, the intended purpose, and the circumstances.
Donate an asset
A benefactor may wish to make a charitable contribution of an asset. M.A.D. can discuss whether the resource could be accepted, deployed directly, or converted into support for the mission.
Offer the use of an asset
Ownership does not always have to change. In some cases, a benefactor may be able to offer the charitable use of a vehicle, space, equipment, service, or other resource while retaining ownership and control. Any arrangement should be reviewed and documented appropriately.
Bring a business resource or expertise
A business may have capacity that is more valuable than a check: a service, audience, equipment, professional knowledge, facilities, or a strategic relationship. M.A.D. can explore how those resources might responsibly help the mission.
What happens next
Begin with a conversation. M.A.D. will ask about the resource, intended use, relevant condition or restrictions, and the mission opportunity. Acceptance, use, documentation, and any tax consequences depend on the specific facts.
